This Month’s Shared Practice Meeting

Facility Resiliency Planning
Shared Practice Meeting (One-hour Teams call)
February 24, 2026, 3:00 pm EDT / 12:00 pm PDT

Facility Resiliency Planning is the structured process of ensuring that occupied facilities can continue to support their intended operational role under stress, degrade gracefully when stressed, and recover predictably after disruption. It sits between Storm Restoration and Business Continuity planning.

Will the physical facility itself enable or constrain our ability to execute storm response and business continuity plans?

Join us to share your perspectives and hear how other utilities are addressing these challenges. All utility staff and business partners are welcome to participate.

Benchmarking Program Updates

Final reports for the 2025 Utility Facilities Benchmarking Program have been published – contact us if you have any trouble with access. Data has been updated by a couple organizations since the “first” final report.

Enhancements for the 2026 program are being planned and your input is welcome at any of the Steering Committee meetings on the schedule or by email. One key aspect is the degree of AI integration that will be provided (based on the value it provides and alignment with participant’s policies).  Contact us if you would like learn more about the 2026 program.

Additional Support

We provide additional support services on data integration/assembly, using metrics, special studies and strategic facility planning for service centers.  Contact us if you would like a no-sales chat about your situation
