This Month’s Shared Practice Meeting

Facility Condition: Data, Metrics & Use Discussion
Shared Practice Meeting (One-hour Teams call)
April 28, 2026, 3:00 pm EDT / 12:00 pm PDT

Facility condition assessments are a familiar concept in facilities management, but practice varies widely among companies and even in our benchmarking group. Some organizations prepare formal assessments on a set cycle, some do them only for selected sites or funding requests, and others do not really use them. FCA’s can help with the common pain points that you are facing now: aging building systems, risk assessment, and competition for capital funding.

This month’s shared-practice discussion will focus on what participants actually do today: what their assessments include to improve both our internal use and our FCI benchmarking.  What is included in your FCA/FCI, how do you rate and prioritize deficiencies, and how do you convert findings into a capital maintenance or renewal program.

Join us to share your perspectives and hear how other utilities are addressing these challenges. All utility staff and business partners are welcome to participate.
