Eastern & Western Utility Group Meetings

EUG and WUG meetings provide opportunities you to meet face-to-face with your peers  to discuss current issues, share best practices, and see other utility facilities. These are great networking and informal mentoring opportunities for utility FMs.  The Mississippi River is the general boundary between the Eastern Utilities Group (EUG) and Western Utilities Group (WUG), but participants can attend any meetings.   These regional meetings typically have high participation levels because they are just 1-1/2 day with a smaller group that allows a lot of interaction.  Many attendees repeat each year.

 

EUG and WUG meetings are typically held in the winter and summer to complement the Utility Council’s general meetings, which are held in the spring and fall. Attendees from many major utilities have attended past meetings at:

Meeting Registration

Let us know who is attending from your company so we can plan accordingly. If your company is participating in this year’s benchmarking program, there is no additional charge to attend. Just email Robert Lambe with the names of your attendees.

If you are not a benchmarking participant you will need to use this item to enroll unless your company is hosting the meeting, in which case it is free. Attendance is restricted to utility staff or others with prior approval – email Robert Lambe if unsure. (Please be sure to add the attendee’s name and email in the notes during the order so they get meeting details and updates.)
