Cultural Facility Shared Practice Meeting
- June 23, 2026
- 12:00 pm Eastern / 9:00 am Pacific
- What is this in your local time?
Artificial intelligence is rapidly moving from experimentation into everyday facility operations. Cultural institutions are beginning to use AI tools for energy optimization, maintenance analysis, environmental monitoring, reporting, space utilization, and administrative support. At the same time, others are doing very little with the technology. Many facility leaders remain uncertain about what is truly practical, affordable, and operationally mature versus what is still largely hype, particularly for organizations with limited budgets or limited technical staffing.
This month’s meeting will be a discussion of AI applications that are realistically usable today by museum and cultural facility teams. Where can you get value from AI if you are just starting? What are others already doing? What are lessons learned from other cultural facility managers? We want to hear what everyone is doing so come and share 5 minutes about your efforts, tips, or concerns!
Join us to share your perspectives and hear how other cultural facility managers are addressing these challenges. All cultural staff and business partners are welcome to participate.
Please take the short shared practice survey on this topic – it will only take a few minutes and your input is greatly appreciated. Upon completion you will get an email with the meeting registration. (All survey participants get the survey results whether they can attend the meeting or not and all benchmarking participants receive a briefing paper on this topic).
