The WUG meeting hosted by Pacific Gas & Electric brought together facility leaders from several western utilities to discuss facility management topics.

We heard presentations of their new NAPA service center from the project team, security fencing issues from corporate security, a “Tiger Dam” site flood protection case study, and a new BPA transmission building project.

Discussion topics included regulatory requirements, managing vendor spend, emergency event planning, project challenges including logistics, and asset management.

In spite of the atmospheric river going on, PG&E also provided a tour of their gas control and training facilities.
