Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) Transition
POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) refers to legacy copper-based analog voice lines delivered via the public switched telephone network. POTS lines are typically embedded in life safety, monitoring, and legacy control systems. These lines need to be transitioned to other solutions as carriers retire copper networks, costs increase, their reliability degrades, and other issues arise.
This month's survey is about where your organization is in this transition. Please take a couple minutes to share your input on our short shared practice survey. Upon completion you will get the shared practice meeting invitation. (All participants get the survey results after the meeting).
